Securitize, Inc., a digital asset securities firm, has partnered with Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE: APO) to launch a tokenized feeder fund, marking a significant step in bringing private credit investments to blockchain platforms. The new fund, Apollo Diversified Credit Securitize Fund (ACRED), will provide tokenized access to Apollo’s Diversified Credit Fund, a global credit strategy investing in corporate direct lending, asset-backed lending, and structured credit.

ACRED Will Run on Several Networks

ACRED is now available on multiple blockchain networks, including Aptos, Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana. The fund leverages Ethereum ecosystem support from Etherealize and has received investment from Coinbase Asset Management and Kraken, among others. This launch represents the first time Apollo’s Diversified Credit Fund will be accessible through an on-chain product, enabling investors to participate in a fully digital format with daily net asset value (NAV) redemptions.

To facilitate cross-chain functionality, Securitize has partnered with Wormhole, an interoperability platform, allowing tokens to move seamlessly across different blockchain ecosystems. This integration aims to enhance liquidity and accessibility for investors.

Qualified investors can access ACRED exclusively through Securitize Markets, LLC, the broker-dealer subsidiary of Securitize. The firm will also serve as the fund’s digital transfer agent and administrator.

Top Executives Speak on the New Partnership

Earl Hunt, Apollo Partner and President of Apollo Diversified Credit Fund described the partnership as a milestone in making private markets more accessible and efficient. “This partnership and launch with Securitize is an exciting milestone in our journey to make private markets more accessible and efficient, including Apollo Diversified Credit Fund, which offers diversified exposure to a range of corporate and asset-backed credit,” Hunt said.

Christine Moy, another Apollo Partner, highlighted the potential for broader adoption of tokenized assets in private markets. “This tokenization not only provides an on-chain solution for Apollo Diversified Credit Fund, but also could pave the way for broader access to private markets through next-generation product innovation, greater secondary liquidity, and efficiency over time,” Moy added.
